Vanessa has been instrumental in the founding and growth of Another. She has over a decade of industry experience learning from master stylists in the SoCal region. Vanessa’s vision to build Another has always been about the people. At her core, her passion to love and serve others is what truly inspires and propels her forward. Her desire for personal growth allows her to constantly realign herself with the relationships around her. Vanessa lives in Solana Beach with her husband Steve and their french bulldog Duke. If you ever need to spot her in the wild, she’s the stylish one with red nail polish.

NICOLE GRAVES

Nicole is an established cut and colorist with over 20 yrs of experience. As an accomplished cut and colorist for Frederic Fekkai Salon in New York City, Nicole has worked with some of the most respected and talented stylists in New York City and around the world, including the honor of styling for celebrity clients, working fashion week, and having work featured in various magazines. Since relocating to CA her days are also filled being a mom to her lovely kids, Arden and Shea.

LAUREN McVEY

This Jersey Girl has applied her knowledge of business and sass to Another. Lauren was in the Prosthetics industry for almost 15years and owned a very successful practice.Two years ago, she decided to sell her shares and pursue her passion of cosmetology. To Lauren this is about Another stage in life, reinventing herself and being part of a community. When not greeting you with a smile; she is drinking her bullet coffee and going on adventures with her three children...Dayton, Mallory and Dekker.

Garidey Griesmer

Garidey has been working professionally for 9 years in Beverly Hills and 5 years in Encinitas. Her main source of inspiration comes from nature and natural beauty. She started as a professional snowboarder in the small mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado. A severe injury to her back from a snowboarding accident encouraged her to think her future. Her mother suggested she attend Vidal Sassoon Hair and Cosmetology School. Garidey began her education at Vidal Sassoon in 2003. One year later and after studying makeup at Studio Makeup Academy, off to Beverly Hills she went!

She worked for Juan Juan Salon full time for four years. During that great period she met and fell in love with my husband and knew she wanted to start a family. So, in 2007 they moved to Carlsbad, CA and she began a slow transition and a new beginning at Divinity Salon. She has the best of both worlds. Working in Beverly Hills and working runway shows at LA Fashion week for top designers including Louie Verded, Shay Todd, Eduardo Diesel, etc. On the flip side, she has two sweet daughters, Bijoux & Zion, and her now family at Another Salon Studio.

Shawn Knudsen

Specialty: Tape Extensions and Styling

Shawn has been in the salon industry for 15 years and has hundreds and hundreds of blowouts under her belt. She not only specializes in them but also styling, wedding hair as well as tape extensions. Shawn trained at Paul Mitchell San Diego and furthered her blowout and styling skills working for Drybar and assisting in Beverly Hills. She truly believes a good blowout and style can make anyone feel like their best self. While having an eye for the latest trends and good style, she’s ready to make your hair your best accessory.

When she’s not behind the chair or running around doing house call clients, you can find her at barre class, traveling, shopping, watching Bravo, spending time with family and friends, going out to dinners or petting any dog she sees.

Ryan Crociante

Having worked in the beauty industry for over a decade, 9 years doing hair and 7 years spent with Mac Cosmetics, he brings his wealth of knowledge within the fashion world to his clients and Another Salon Studio. Ryan’s portfolio includes celebrity clients, television and branding shoots (Sun Bum, Kopari, Taylor Guitars, and Christian Cowen to name a few). Believing that your beauty is power and from that power comes confidence, Ryan specializes in executing the complete look. Obsessed with everything fashion, he draws inspiration from designer shows to distill trends and translate them for clients. He loves elevating women to their best selves by enhancing their natural features. “I am so grateful to be in a profession where I get to play with beauty all day and feel extremely blessed to be able to make women feel like the most confident version of themselves.” 

DULCE RAMOS

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Dulce has been in the hair industry for over 20 years and began at the award-winning flagship downtown location of Gene Juarez Salons and Spas.

Although experienced in hair coloring, hair extensions and special occasion styling, Dulce specialized in hair cutting using the Vidal Sassoon inspired French style of cutting. She was a certified Network Educator for Bumble and Bumble and is certified with Easyhair Pro Extensions.

In her free time she enjoys traveling the world, mountain biking, snowboarding and running around with her pup, Frankie.

Rain Hartman

Senior Stylist
Specialty: Color and Cut

Meet Rain, her fun and bold fashion sense is obvious and you will never see her in an outfit that isn’t on point. She left New York’s fashion industry in 2002 to pursue a career in hair and was trained under Vidal Sassoon’s Creative Director. Having both business ownership and overseeing a salon education program as part of her story, Rain joined Another Salon Studio. She loves working on dimensional color, especially anything that has a high level of contrast. Rain finds that through being intentional with her time and her elevated level of expertise she can curate something special for each client. She believes there is nothing more attractive than someone who feels confident. Outside of Another Salon Studio you can find her with her husband and daughter. They will be finding good food, traveling and experiencing all that life has to offer. ⁠

PAIGE GINGRICH

Paige is a Southern California born and raised Stylist who has been in the Industry for 12 years. She was trained in the European style which involves fundamental principles of primary shapes and reference points on the head, creating looks that are balanced and fluid. She believes that your hair cut should suit your life, not the other way around. Using natural textures and volume of each individual person in order to create a hair cut that is specific to you.
